August 9, 200421 yr Does anyone know of a good way of providing fairly large areas of "ground cover"? - by that I mean something that resembles bushy(scrub?) land. I've tried using tangled lines of reduced size trees but doesn't really look that good . Doing the same with single (reduced) trees isn't much better and takes forever .BTW I'm using FSSC.MTIADave
August 9, 200421 yr Author Commercial Member Have you thought about using a VTP polygon with a texture type that has autogen? Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done. FSDeveloper.com | Former Microsoft FS MVP | Blog
August 10, 200421 yr In a word Arno -- no. It's something I know next to nothing about at the moment - I presume you mean using Ground 2K4?So far my use of G2K4 has been limited to changing the landclass files in order to get rid of the default scenery and substitute a better background- then filling that with macros of trees. I can see I've got some more learning to do.Thanks for pointing me in the right directionDave
