September 20, 200421 yr I just "discovered" the FSGenesis DEM files. In the installation it just says to put the files in the fs9/scenery/world/scenery directory. It doesn't say anything about removing any files.Should I be removing some files from the default situation? Isn't the world/scenery directory at the bottom of the list? Should I put the files in the Addon Scenery/Scenery directory instead to make sure they are the primary files?Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I haven't found anybody asking these questions.Thank you,Thomas
September 20, 200421 yr Author Commercial Member No, you don't have to remove any files. For a certain area FS will automatically use the mesh with the highest LOD that is available. So as the addon scenery is better then the default scenery it will be used, even if it is installed in the same folder. Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done. FSDeveloper.com | Former Microsoft FS MVP | Blog
