Converting extended bitmaps

Featured Replies

Is there a program available anywhere which will enable me to batch convert extended bitmaps into a form which I can then view in Paint Shop Pro? I have Martin Wright's DXTBmp program but, of course, this only lets me convert one file at a time which is a bit time consuming. Thanks for any help.David

Imagetool will do batch processing. Start imagetool.exe -h for a listing of processes available.W. Sieffert

David, maybe Martin Wright's ConvIm would help. You can get it here:http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/index.htmIt will batch convert all type of extended bitmats into Windows bitmaps but not necessaraly the other way around. Once you have modified a file with PSP, you will probably need to save it back in Window's bitmap format and process it with DXTbmp to its DXT1 or DXT3 or enhanceBMP original format one at a time, I think. Give it a try.Hugo

Thank you, guys, for your replies.David
