April 29, 200521 yr Hi allI've been experimenting with the Ground2k4 mesh tool but I'm finding that all I can do is set an individual point to an altitude which produces a cone in the landscape. Problem is the software seems to prevent me putting the points close enough together to create a surface at that altitude, all I get is a nest of cones! Is that a limitation in Ground2k4 or am I way off track?CheersStew
May 1, 200521 yr Author Hello Stew,Perhaps it is a matter of choosing a different LOD equivalent that is a better fit for your mesh. You should place the flatten polygons at the vertices of the grid - there is no advantage in placing them any closer than that since the polygons have a fixed size depending on the grid that you select.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
