Lee Swordy - AFCAD Update ?

Featured Replies

Hi LeeFirstly may I congratulate you on such a good program as AFCAD 2.21.My question is when can we expect a new version. 2.21 has been with us now for a long time and I see various postings regarding looking for newer version notice that appears when 2.21 is first installed. Now some requests for any new version. An import of background image to make design easier from airport layout charts.Ability to locate objects from macro library such as Airport offers, so as to gain accurate building against parking slots. (No aircraft parked inside the terminal.)Ability to locate stand numbers on apron surface, taxiway turnoffs etc.Your work is greatly appreciated and as freeware it is an excellent product. Look forward to hearing any news.Best regardsDouglas

Sadly, I don't think there will be an update to AFCAD.Lee hasn't responded in a long time.It could be real life caused a change in Lee's flight simulation interest.I know, since I have returned to work full time at the Air Orlando Flight School. My four year retirement is over to pay for piloting actual aircraft, maintaining an FAA certified flight simulator, managing flight school records, and maintaining general computer systems for Air Orlando.W.
