Custom Runway textures

Hi Folks,I am contemplating an "attempt" to make custom runway textures for my home airport VOMM (Chennai, India). Can I get some help on how & where to start going about this in a systematic manner?Thanks a lot.Dinshaw.

Im no expert at all on scenery design, but i imagine that first you need to take photos of the runway you want to modify, (so you have an accurate idea of what it is like) then find where the textures in FS are located, and edit them photoshop or something like that.

If you change a runway texture, this will affect all airport on the world that use the type of runway. So to change the texture of only one runway is not really easy to do.

Well... when you download almost any scenery, there comes a scenery folder, and a texture folder, if you just make the texture and put it there, I thing that would be the best way to resolve this problem :)

They are only read from the main folder.
