August 22, 200520 yr I have the following problem:Installed Aerosoft's Canary Islands and FSPlanet's Canaries VFR. So far, everything is well, FSPlanet's mesh takes over, and the airports from Aerosoft/Sim-Wings are displayed properly, everything works as I want it to.Well, almost:Because of the different elevation data, I now have several airports where hills and some mountains etc. go right through the airport scenery.I assume I need to flatten the terrain at the airports location and even add some additional margin around. The question now is how do I achieve this? I have some scenery design program with which I could define VTP polygons with a flatten switch which I could compile to a BGL.Is this the proper approach? Or is there an easier way (don't know how to find out the coordinates for the polygon, maybe in the AFCAD file for the airport)?Andreas Andreas, LOWW - Nihil sumus et fuimus mortales. August 26, 200520 yr Have you tried fsflatten? (fstutilities.zip in the library) A small utility, relatively easy to use. Comes with complete instructions and does nicely what it seams you are looking for. Good luck.Hugo
