August 29, 200520 yr ok im new here, so im sorry if this question has been asked half a zillion times before... but is there any SIMPLE (im not exactly a computer technitian lol) way to add my downloaded aircraft to the traffic at an airport? i'm just getting sick of having the few default airlines as the only traffic!thanks in advance for your help
August 29, 200520 yr Author Commercial Member Hi there, the SIMPLE way is to purchase one of the available AI traffic packages, like Ultimate Traffic or My Traffic 2005, which come with autoinstallers and other goodies like traffic view board etc.The more flexible (and free) way would be to download any of the existing packages from Project AI - http://www.projectai.com/ - and use their autoinstaller to add individual airlines, including some cargo and military packages. Those installers don't come with the AFCAD airport files (which place parking spots according to real-world distributions) but there are packages available for those at PAI or here at Avsim. The most flexible way is to do everything manually. This gives you the option to pick the AI model you like best, the flightplans you . Other than here and at PAI, sites to visit for those are:http://www.ai-aardvark.com/http://www.mostrealisticai.com/main.phphttp://www.ultimatega.com/http://afcad.projectai.com/http://de.geocities.com/janswebsites/flightsim/index.htmlhttp://www.fsrepaints.de/http://members.at.infoseek.co.jp/FSpainter/works.htmhttp://81.208.92.5/dee_cp/fs_projects/index.htmlhttp://www.calclassic.com/static.htm#AIAircrafthttp://www.molitor-home.de/fs/aitm/http://www.editvoicepack.com/... and many more.Probably the best place to go for inspiration regarding an airport packed with real-world liveries is the Project AI screenshot forum: http://www.flightsimmer.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=10Have fun but be careful: adding AI is addictive ;-)Cheers, Holger
