Default library objects with Rwy12 - tv towers

Featured Replies

Has anybody successfully got the default transmission towers to display correctly? I've used Rwy 12 to place a number of objects and am very happy with the ease of use. However I've tried to place two towers, radio tower 8166fd03480c41117f4cd1924c2629b3 and tv tower5137c38443463c5527b068a311fd080a .In both cases they display untextured, just blank red. A couple of other simmers have tried my bgl and get the same result so I don't think my default texture bmps have a problem although I haven't actually been able to track down which ones they may be.Thank youMal

Hello Mal,Are you sure that you are getting the entire antenna? Please see this thread:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...ing_type=searchTelevision antennahttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/126790.jpgRadio antennahttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/126791.jpgThis package includes a list of all the default objects that can be used, along with large, clear and annotated pictures of them all:http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=69398It seems that the Rwy 12 team has not yet discovered this aspect of Flight Simulator - in their last package, they are still providing the underground pictures of the antennae.Best regards.Luis

Thank you very much Luis, that is exactly what the problem was. I had found a very small antenna in the correct location so had scaled it up by a factor of 10. All that was visible was the very tip.Good detective work on your part!ThanksMal
