Taxi Lines over Custom Textures...

What's the best program for placing taxiway lines over custom GMAX aprons and taxiways etc? Seems that regardless of what layer I place my texture on when modifying the asm ADDCAT line code, that my taxilines always disappear under the texture. I'm still using BGLC as you might have guessed.Thanks,Adam

Hi Adam,I don't know how you placed your markings now? If you have done it using AFCAD then they will indeed always be hidden by your photos.You could use tools like FSSC or AFW to place the Fs2002 style taximarkings. But there are also people who draw them as polygon in GMax.

Hey Arno,I place them with AFCAD but they are always under the texture. I find that they don't look that good when I draw them either on the texture or on a separate texture with an alpha. The curves are jagged even with antialiasing and the alpha. I've never tried FSSC or AFW. Hi Adam,Using AFCAD does indeed not work, so you will have to do it different.I agree with you that drawing them on the texture is no good idea either, you would have to use a very high resolution to make that look good.FSSC and Airport for Windows are both freeware indeed.
