November 16, 200520 yr Commercial Member This has probably been asked before, but I can't find it anywhere:When you animate a scenery object, does its crash box move with it or does it stay in the original position? How about rotation? Does it rotate with it?Finally... for both translation and rotation: does the crash box expand with the movement (as in, scale up to envelop the new positions) or does it stay the same shape/size as when the object was created?I hope this makes sense :) P3D SpacePort Team
November 16, 200520 yr Author Commercial Member Hi Misho,I can only answer the first question. No, the crash box does not follow an animated object. But I don't know if it only fits around the static position or around the total space covered by the animated object. November 16, 200520 yr Commercial Member Thanks Arno!So - when someone creates animated hangar doors, there is no way to crash into the doors when they are closed and go into the hangar when they are open? In other words, the "normal" real world behaviour? P3D SpacePort Team
November 17, 200520 yr Author Commercial Member Nope, unfortunately not. You would have to remove the crash box all the time. Arno If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done. FSDeveloper.com | Former Microsoft FS MVP | Blog
