Stream textures

Featured Replies

Hi all -Just wondering if anybody happens to know which textures are used for streams in the scenery/world/texture file ? If anybody knows it would save alot of trial an error to find out. Thanks!

Hi there, riversu.bmp all year round. An easy way to find specific VTP2 line textures is to load your terrain.cfg into Wordpad. The sections for each of the numbered textures contain the seasonal list of textures used.Another option is a visual search via the texture preview sheets of Martin Wright's TView utility, available here: http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/Cheers, Holger

I have another question -I am having trouble determining which format to resave my textures in after reloading them to DXT/Bitmap. I can never get them to resave as the same file size and then they won't reload into FS properly causing an error. The original size of riversuwet is about 87kb but anything I resave it as turns out to be much larger. Any help would be appreciated. :)

Never mind.... I found that the latest version of DXT/bmp has a new save option. I was using an older version.
