May 23, 200620 yr HELLO THERE!I AM TRYING TO MAKE REALISTIC VTP ROADS, FOR MESH TERRAIN WITH GREAT SLOPE ANGLES (FOR EXAMPLE, MOUNTAINS). THE PROBLEM IS THAT VTP ROADS ARE TOO WIDE, THE LIGHT POLES TOO HIGH AND THE FLATTENING ON EACH SIDE OF THE ROADS, TOO WIDE (ALMOST 100 METERS). DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW I CAN CHANGE THESE VALUES?ESPECIALLY THE WIDTH OF THE FLATTENING CAUSES GREAT LOSS ON REALISM, AS IT FLATTENS A VERY BIG AREA ON THE MESH TERRAIN...HELP!!!
May 24, 200620 yr Author Commercial Member Hi there, what's with the all caps? Certainly makes it harder to read.Sorry, there's no direct way of changing the width of the VTP flattens. Your only option is to increase Terrain_Max_Vertex_Level to its highest possible setting, 21, which reduces the "terraces" to about a quarter of the width compared to the default setting of 19.Cheers, Holger
