October 5, 200619 yr Howdy Y'all, I am hoping that some one out there can give this "dummy" some advice/information. I have dl'ed several scenery files that turned out to be text based. In the read me it states that "Lee Swordy's AFCAD is required to install said scenery. I have yet to find a way to have AFCAD recogize these files or to convert them to a format that AFCAD CAN recognize. The header states that it was written with AFCAD 1.4. I have 2.21, is there any hope for these files???I am neither for nor against apathy
October 5, 200619 yr Commercial Member Hi there, nope, you can't use them in FS2004 as the txt format was for FS2002 and doesn't work with FS2004. You'll have to find the FS2004 equivalents of those AFCAD files or make your own.Cheers, Holger
October 5, 200619 yr Hey Holger,Thanks for the speedy reply! I am crestfallen...nay, heartbroken that I can't use those files. Oh well, as we used to say on the flight line "That's the breaks of Naval Air (otherwise known as airbrakes). "Skid marks in the sky" Jim PurdyI am neither for nor against apathy
