fails to recognize joystick two axis

Recommended Posts

Guest tonyc

The win98 joystick calibration box indicates that I have my yoke working properly. When I enter fs, the joystick is not recognized. In fact, when I I enable/disable the joystick, the ailerons move to the left and stay there. The throttle works normally. I have reinstalled the drivers, the control panel shows everything normal. Any ideas, short of a reinstallation? thanks.tony

Try this! Cut and paste your fs2002.cfg file to a safe place on your harddrive. Restart fs2002, it will regenerate a new fs2002.cfg.Next, check your joystick to see if it is recognized and the assignments, under options, settings, assignments to see if the axes/buttons are assigned properly or to your liking.Lastly, if you now have good control of your joystick, download and install FSUIPC, read the User's guide, and calibrate your joystick in accordance with the instructions provided.
