My TMF Viewer differs from the MS FSX SDK documentation in that it doesn't display the name of the landclass, but simply displays the hex value. Is there a switch somewhere that someone can point me to? I prefer English to hex, myself.

Are you sure you are opening the landclass file (worldlc.bgl)?-Doug

You are right...the worldlc file does display it...I didn't find the file right away and thought maybe the SDK didn't reflect a late change ...so I opened image_globe_00. It looks and behaves like worldlc but it gives a hex value for the value. I'm not sure why. Maybe you know. Thanks for prodding me to look again. I've spent hours on this and need a break.
