October 19, 200619 yr My TMF Viewer differs from the MS FSX SDK documentation in that it doesn't display the name of the landclass, but simply displays the hex value. Is there a switch somewhere that someone can point me to? I prefer English to hex, myself.

Are you sure you are opening the landclass file (worldlc.bgl)?-Doug
October 20, 200619 yr You are right...the worldlc file does display it...I didn't find the file right away and thought maybe the SDK didn't reflect a late change ...so I opened image_globe_00. It looks and behaves like worldlc but it gives a hex value for the value. I'm not sure why. Maybe you know. Thanks for prodding me to look again. I've spent hours on this and need a break.
