December 30, 200619 yr I have some glitches in my FSX photoreal scenery made with resample.Attachment (1) shows the black lines I get where one BGL adjoins another.Attachment (2) shows the black rectangles at the corners of adjoining BGLs that overlap each other.Attachment 3 and 4 are the same as 2, except that now, the water effects slider advances to low 1.x, for attachment (3) and medium 1.x for attachment (4).
December 30, 200619 yr Hi John.Have you installed the "Photo-Based Scenery Add-On Update" from the Aces website?http://fsinsider.com/Downloads/There is also an "FSX Software Development Kit Update" that needs to be installed.Dick
December 31, 200619 yr I had the SDK but not the photo update..missed it somehow..getting old....needless to say, the problem is fixed and I can fly over perfect color 1m/pixel scenery for the better part of an hour.Thank you.The georeferencing is much easier using google imagery because you can get 1/100 second accuracy for any pixel you have. It is far more reliable than trying to match up landmarks in Topozone to some other bitmap.I still have to stitch things together, and I assume the stitching would seriously complicate any possibility of getting a GeoTiff image.
