Hi, All I

Allen:I'm not expert yet, and have not done exactly what you ask.But I think this could be done in a few ways, the one that comes to mind is with FSX KML; which uses KML files that come from Google Earth. So Get FSX KML (Search avsim)Then Goto Google earth homepage and get (GE) Google Earth (free version is fine)then go find the runway in GE and draw a polylinethen Export your lines to a KML fileopen the kml file in FSX KML Assign a Landclass to the specific entries in the kmlbuild your files and compile into FSX formats. This is a very simple list but I hope it gets you started.Other options are to assign a different landclass to your desired areas to a FSX default texture or a custom one.you can also add a ground cover bitmap from a program like runway 12 or within the FSX SDK Object tool. This would be an object that shows as a landable surface or ground cover.Just some thoughts Dave

I guess another option would be to make an apron with the BGLComp XML code, I am not really sure if it has an texture with the correct color, but I think it does.

If the world should blow itself up, the last audible voice would be that of an expert saying it can't be done.
