Carenado Bonanza.......

Featured Replies

Is the carenado bonanza really worth getting? I really want a bonanza and it looks very nice...Tadd Garcia

I really like it. Its visually as good as anything out there and has an excellent VC with tinted windows. I've never flown a real one, so I can't comment on the flight model accuracy - but it seems fine to me. No "bells and whistles" like the text-o-matic that comes with Dreamfleet's Archer, but still well worth it.

Hi Will,Can't comment on the Bonanza since I don't own it, but soon there will be a Debonair which is very similar to it. There were some pics posted here:http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...rum=DCForumID47The plane will be Freeware but release date is still to be determined.Regards,Joe :-kewlhttp://home.attbi.com/~jranos/mysig.jpg http://avsim.com/hangar/air/bfu/logo70.gif

Hi,The external model of Carenado's Bonanza is beautiful. The 2D cockpit is very disappointing - the gauges are extremely small and of rather low definition. This makes VFR flying difficult and IFR flying totally impossible (unless you're flying with a telescope attached to your forehead...).Too bad, this could have been an excellent package. As for the flight model, I've never flown a real Bonanza, you'd have to ask Geoff A. about it.All the best.Twister
