June 6, 200719 yr Is there a document or other source of images of FSX's landclasses?I'd like to be able to browse the different landclasses to pick for my scenery instead of relying on the text descriptions.
June 6, 200719 yr Author Commercial Member Hi Leonard, for Region B classes (North America, which includes the majority of the unique FSX class sets) I have included a simple visual catalog with my FSX land class spreadsheet. You can download the package here: http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?t=57245Since those screenshots only show one season I used Martin Wright's convim Image Format converter - http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/ - to generate a set of all seasonal variants of one texture per class at a reduced size, which I can browse as thumbnails in Windows Explorer (you can also use Martin's TView tool to directly browse the FSX land class textures in SceneryWorldtexture but their large size and number makes that much more awkward than with the FS9 textures).I believe that Luis Feliz-Tirado is working on an extended visual catalog that covers all regions.Cheers, Holger
