January 8, 200818 yr I have designed a good (in my opinion) railroad track that I would like to release for scenery designers. There are straight, curved, and switch pieces. I just want to release it so that it can be used in a scenery design program (eg SbuilderX). I know I have to give it a GUI and do someting else, but I don't know how and the SDK tutorials offered no assistance as they refer to 3Ds Max which is not included in FSX Deluxe. any help as to how I would do this?
January 9, 200818 yr Author Hello Joe,Are these objects, and are they made in GMax? If so, you should use the FS Tools - LODName Tool menu to give the object a GUID. Then, you can see what the GUID is by going to the File - File Properties menu. Once you have done that, export your objects, put together an XML file that makes them into an object library bgl, and release along with a list of GUIDs and image files in SBuilderX format.Any questions, please do not hesitate.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
