Hi there - don't know if I can help, but I'll try!Are you referring to your magnetic compass, or your directional indicator (under the attitude indicator, or artificial horizon)?-CP:7

Did you rotate the compass card on the Heading Indicator with the left knob (labelled push) in the default Cessna 172SP. You may have tried changing your heading with this knob vice the HDG Knob (right side), while using the Autopilot Heading Hold. Select the default Meigs flight, which aligns 360, press the left knob until the compass card rotates to 360, save the default flight.
