Newbie; how to choose the .HGT file...

Hi all!I'm a newbie for SRTM Mesh creation.I want to create a mesh for Changi (WSSS):Latitude : N1* 21.55'Longitude : E103* 59.36'Can you tell me the HGT file that I need for this?I use the "SRTM_TO_BGL" tool.Thanks for your help.enel

Hi Enel:there's quite the stack of documentation on the SRTM website (ftp://edcsgs9.cr.usgs.gov/pub/data/srtm/Documentation)The 'Quick Start' guide has this to say:"File names refer to the latitude and longitude of the lower left corner ofthe tile - e.g. N37W105 has its lower left corner at 37 degrees northlatitude and 105 degrees west longitude. To be more exact, thesecoordinates refer to the geometric center of the lower left pixel, which inthe case of SRTM-3 data will be about 90 meters in extent."Cheers, Holger
