Lake Island mesh

Featured Replies

I have been making a detailed mesh for a friend of mine. The mesh is for an island in a lake. I have the island mesh in LOD 11, 12 and 13. My problem now is to get this shown in FS2004. Almost everything is put together and the island shows up on the lake perfectly, but with no eleveation (ie. the mesh doesn't show up). The mesh is verified correct by tmfviewer and by placing the island mesh on the mainland.I have seen in other posts about the flatten problem for airports and others, and wonder if this is the same.If I have understood this correctly this happens because of a flatten area in 2004 that we are not able to exclude (yet). Correct? And that the only way so far is to disassamble a FS2002 flt*.bgl file, fix it and then reassamble it. If this is not correct, please correct me! I'm willing to try this method, but my problem is that I don't have FS2002. Is there some who can lookup the correct FLT*.bgl file and send it to me? The island coordinates are: N60:42:19 - N60:45:43 E10:54:44 - E11:01:57My corresponding FS2004 file is FL950100.bgl.Hope somebody can help my out?Finn-Aage
