"GPS Engine Not Loaded" error

Featured Replies

I am getting an error when I start up FS2K2 standard, reporting that the GPS engine did lot load and I can't use the flight planenr because of it. I didn't install anything to cause this to happen, it just started doing it. Anyone know why or how I can fix it without reinstalling again (reinstalling fixes it for a while)?

I dont think that is an Instalation problem or a fault of the sofware. Maybe Im wrong but I have also received this message when I errased the flight plan of the flight that was set up as a default.to solve this, just click on create a flight, after click on flight planner and set up a flight of your choice. after that click on save flight and check the box of set up as default. restart the sim and problem solved.Hope this helps!!

Make sure you have a gps.gau gauge in your fs2002gauges folder. If not, retrieve it from your CDs using Winzip or another unzipping program. Search the *.cab files for the gps.gau gauge.
