June 19, 200520 yr Thanks to Holger's advice, I did manage to get my DEMs resampled. When I enter LOD Auto, I get most of the boundary of the original dem. When I try to enter a LOD other than Auto I get only a part of the dem resampled -- smaller as the LOD goes higher. That might be okay -- except I can't figure out how to control which part I'm getting. It will probably help to mention that the DEMs are only 1:250,000, and that's all I've found for the area I'm interested in. (N74, W88) What I'm trying to do is build an airport in a location that is proposed for a real airport, and I'm starting to think the earthworks one will be easier.
June 19, 200520 yr Commercial Member Howdy, actually, the compiled mesh should become smaller in extent as the LOD goes lower, that is the resolution decreases.Anyway, the best place to look for answers, IMO, is here: http://www.fs-traveler.com/tips-d.shtmlCheers, Holger
July 10, 200520 yr To control which part you get you need to use the directives in the destination section of the inf file, northlat, southlat, westlon etc. See the Terrain SDK for full details.Andy
