Using the default panel or others with any gauges from the default, I am getting out of control pitch trim full nose up and full nose down. When it reaches the up or down full stop, I am unable to trim the a/c.This is only happening inside the middle marker to touchdown. Any suggestions would be appreciated.http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3cd2fb923e5fd384.jpg-Jay....:-wave-NWA Line Maintenance KDFW -WORLDWIDE RELIABILITY

Interesting - I'm getting full nose-down trim prior to takeoff every time. Thankfully not on final like you are!! Just have to keep it on the checklist.Am interested in any answers to this one... anybody?-CP :7

I think the way round this is to go into the aircraft.cfg file and look for the line that says something like; elevator trim=8 (or some such number) and adjust it until the trim is level. I had problems with default aircraft in that some were trimmed nose up and some nose down. This cured the problem of loading up a default aircraft and remembering to trim before setting off. I don't seem to have the problem now that I rarely use the default stuff.ps don't forget to save a copy of your original cfg file just in case!Colin

Further to my previous response, I think it should be Pitch_takeoff_ga=8.00 that needs to be adjusted. In the default aircraft this figure is higher or lower. 8 seems to be an average figure. Hope this helps.Colin
