May 10, 200224 yr Hi All,I've got a situation where I have 747s parking in places which are designated as RAMPs (GA Small) with a 14m radius. The attached screen shot shows how ridulous this is :-) I'm using the SDK and the airport that I'm playing with is defined as follows.YSSY,-33.949334053,151.177222151,6{ RUNWAY,12999,148,HARD RUNWAY,8297,148,HARD RUNWAY,7999,148,HARD PARKING,14.0,RAMP PARKING,14.0,RAMP PARKING,54.0,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,54.0,GATE PARKING,54.0,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,54.0,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,54.0,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,14.0,RAMP PARKING,54.0,GATE PARKING,10.0,RAMP PARKING,54.0,GATE PARKING,54.0,GATE PARKING,54.0,GATE PARKING,54.0,GATE PARKING,54.0,GATE PARKING,54.0,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,21.9,GATE PARKING,14.0,RAMP PARKING,14.0,RAMP PARKING,14.0,RAMP PARKING,14.0,RAMP PARKING,14.0,RAMP PARKING,14.0,RAMP}Could anybody provide any ideas why this is occuring? May 10, 200224 yr Can't help with the parking problem, but attach your screen shot as a JPG, not an HTML file.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://members.aol.com/tgfltsim/index.htmlAlcoHauler Locomotive Page: http://members.aol.com/alcohauler/home/alcohaul.htmlFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
May 11, 200224 yr I notice that they don't have any landing gear. Many earlier addon aircraft do not have their size defined correctly, and will park at incorrect gates. My FSDS AI aircraft, for example, all end up with a 52.5 ft radius, no matter the size of the aircraft.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://members.aol.com/tgfltsim/index.htmlAlcoHauler Locomotive Page: http://members.aol.com/alcohauler/home/alcohaul.htmlFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
May 12, 200224 yr Hi Tom,Thanks very much for the reply. I've been trying out FS98 aircraft to try and help my frame rates. Your observation would certainly explain why this is happening - appreciate your help.cheersPaul
