WEEK Instruction

Featured Replies

Hi guys,I have one question. I have tried to made flightplans for Adria Airways departing from LJLJ to elsewhere in Europe but I have a feeling that WEEK instruction does not work. If I have repetiotion time 2, 4 hrs.. 24hrs the aircraft used do fly, depart and land but if I use WEEK, they just remain on the ground. I have changed days, time, no success. So here is one flight planAC#37,S5-AAA,30%,24Hr,IFR,10:00:00,11:00:00,340,F,0102,EDDM,11:45:00,12:35:00,330,F,0103,LJLJAC#37,S5-AAA,10%,WEEK,IFR,1/00:15:00,1/04:15:00,330,F,0854,LCLK,1/04:55:00,1/07:00:00,340,F,0855,LJLJAC#37 is Airbus A320 and it shows properly. The first plan, 24Hr works, no problem. The second, which should start on Monday at 02:15 Local time does not work. The aircraft is just sitting there on apron and waiting and waiting...I have also downloaded flightplans for EGLL (Heathrow) for BA and there the situation repeats. All 24 hr flightplans work, WEEK do not. Could anybody try this and let me know what could be wrong? Oh BTW, I have also tested my flightplans with changing my A320 with FS2k2's B737 and situation is the same...Best regardsGoran

The flightplan you have listed will only occur once every 7 days.Using the WEEK instruction, you would need to create flight plans on the one line for the entire 7 day period, which would then be repeated when the WEEK rolled over again.i.e. AC#23,N10323,1%,WEEK,IFR,0/0:56:00,0/00:00:00,330,F,866,KBOS,0/6:00:00,0/00:00:00,340,F,0,KTUL,0/15:32:00,0/00:00:00,310,F,779,KIAH,0/17:59:00,0/00:00:00,240,F,779,KSAT,0/19:52:00,0/00:00:00,260,F,1620,KIAH,0/21:44:00,0/00:00:00,230,F,1620,KATL,1/0:41:00,0/00:00:00,340,F,1021,KIAH,1/13:52:00,0/00:00:00,220,F,199,KDEN,1/16:57:00,0/00:00:00,210,F,629,KEWR,1/22:30:00,0/00:00:00,190,F,638,KMIA,2/13:28:00,0/00:00:00,320,F,139,KEWR,2/17:04:00,0/00:00:00,280,F,849,KMSY,2/21:03:00,0/00:00:00,310,F,866,KEWR,3/0:57:00,0/00:00:00,270,F,866,KBOS,3/13:07:00,0/00:00:00,200,F,845,KEWR,3/15:27:00,0/00:00:00,350,F,525,KCLE,3/17:47:00,0/00:00:00,180,F,785,KFLL,3/21:42:00,0/00:00:00,210,F,484,KCLE,4/16:21:00,0/00:00:00,290,F,1071,KMCO,4/20:16:00,0/00:00:00,210,F,1870,KCLE,4/23:42:00,0/00:00:00,250,F,624,KEWR,5/12:05:00,0/00:00:00,240,F,716,KMSY,5/15:56:00,0/00:00:00,190,F,617,KEWR,5/19:27:00,0/00:00:00,180,F,856,KBOS,5/22:00:00,0/00:00:00,190,F,20,KEWR,6/0:58:00,0/00:00:00,270,F,866,KBOS,6/14:54:00,0/00:00:00,240,F,849,KEWR,6/17:05:00,0/00:00:00,250,F,849,KMSY,6/21:07:00,0/00:00:00,320,F,866,KEWR-j

Correct. Otherwise, you'll get an aircraft that just flies one day and sits on the tarmac for the remaining 6 days using up valuable parking space.Misha

Hi!Thank You for Your quick reply. I know that my Airbus should start every monday and I want it so. I have flightplans ready for whole week but the problem still remain: when the aircraft should depart at the specifed time, it remains on the ground. I have tried also flightplans for EGLL which have WEEK instructions but only these flightplans with WEEK instruction do not depart! So I am curious do I have a problem or does anybody else too? Also if I have made any mistake with my flightplan, or maybe with speed setting in the Aircraft.txt file (for Airbus 320 I set it at 450), where did I made mistake?Best regardsGoran

Goran,Never had a problem with the WEEK instruction. Works like a charm. Are you aware that the plane is supposed to leave Monday morning at 00:15 GMT time from LJLJ?One thing to watch for: while it might already be early Monday morning in GMT, it might still be late Sunday evening at some places in the world. So if you have a plane leave Boston at 01:00 GMT early Monday morning, it would actually depart Boston Sunday night at 19:00 (I believe there is a 6 hrs time difference).Andre
