June 9, 200223 yr Just made up an airport installed it to Fs2002. I then used afcad to add taxxing and taking off aircraft. But when I go to set up a test flight plan like is suggested in afcad instructions My airport does not come up on the list of airports to use. I would think the scenery maker I use adds the proper AFD info in the bgl file. You look it up in the create flight section of fs2002 and it is recognised there. Any thoughts?Frank.
June 9, 200223 yr Author You have to add the new airport to the airport.txt file of the flightplan program you are using. This has to be done manually.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://members.aol.com/tgfltsim/index.htmlAlcoHauler Locomotive Page: http://members.aol.com/alcohauler/home/alcohaul.htmlFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
June 10, 200223 yr Thank you Tom for the help. I do appreciate it. By the way, any new dc7 type aircraft in the works? Gmax?Frank.
June 10, 200223 yr Author Unfortunately, carpal tunnel syndrome has started to affect me, so I doubt I'll do much in GMax. If FSDS2 comes along, I'll try to import my old planes and update them for FS2002, but they won't be too different from the old ones. We'll need to wait for a "new breed" of propliner buffs to take up the challenge and do new versions of the big Doug's. I'm hoping!! :)-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://members.aol.com/tgfltsim/index.htmlAlcoHauler Locomotive Page: http://members.aol.com/alcohauler/home/alcohaul.htmlFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
