AI traffic at big airports - HELP!

Is it usual at big airports that AI aircraft sometimes land to close to each other. Today I saw a BA A319, A320 and a LH A321 landing almost at the same time. This is very unrealistic! Isnt't there anybody working on a program to fix this?Mabye some day it's possible to make AI aircraft waiting (turning around) in the air until they are allowed to land like in real life!
