July 13, 200223 yr Is it possible to create overlays for those airports, even though they have crossing (not parralel) runaways?
July 13, 200223 yr Of course it's possible. But sometimes you may have aircraft that cross or even appear to collide with each other. This is just something you have to put up with when you do multiple overlays.Kev
July 13, 200223 yr The other problem is that it can be difficult to find a good spot for each overlay's airport reference point. While it's easy to do for one wind direction, when the wind is blowing the other direction the planes often park at the wrong overlay's gates.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
July 14, 200223 yr Hi,I did a five-overlay for KORD for default scenery with all 6 runways in use, but I did not upload it as I'm still testing it and because I have to contact the person first who did the original KORD file due to copyright issues. There are still some problems with the overlays (hold short nodes, planes going down the wrong taxiways etc).Anyway, if you would like to have it for testing, I cen send it to you (may take a couple of days as I#m very busy right now). Just mail me in private, [email protected] from GermanyAlex
July 15, 200223 yr I've just uploaded at flightsim.com my 5-overlays version of default KORD airport (kord.zip).For any particular request, please contact me at [email protected],PaoloP.S: I attach at this one the original readme of th file.
