Airport Overlays

Featured Replies

Is there anyway to use the program "AI Traffic" to chnage the airports for new overlays?I have installed the Overlays for Toronto (CYYZ) and I am trying to figure out the easiest way to change the gates (destinations) of some airines to use the overlays. However, when I go into "AI Traffic" I only see the original airport. Can I add YYZ2 somehow? Also, if I change the destination airport to YYZ2 - do I have to change or add the voicepack?

I figured it out for the most part. In case anyone else has the same questions....Copy the Airport ID after decompiling your files with TTools. Then paste it and change the ICAO ID to match the file you imported. For example: I imported CYYZ, YYZ2, YYZ3, YYZ4 so now I have four lines in my airport.txt file for CYYZ - however they only differ on the 4 letter ID.Now, does anyone know if I need to add voices for these new airports?

They will automatically use the correct terminology for Ground, Tower, etc., but for correct conversation while selecting the airport to land at you'll need to add them to the Airport List inside the GVP file. Just copy the line for CYYZ and change the ICAO codes.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___
