August 20, 200223 yr Hi,I'm new to this and if this has been covered somewhere else on the forum, I've missed it and appoligize in advanc for the repeated question...In adding planes in the aircraft.txt folder, what does thesecond number (200 in this example)mean and how do decide what number to put there when adding additional aircraft. I've been using AI shuffler if this info is needed.AC#1,200,"Beech Baron 58"Thanks in advance for your help.Jerry
August 20, 200223 yr Author It is the cruise speed of the aircraft. AFAIK it should match the speed listed as Cruise Speed in the Reference Speeds section of the aircraft.cfg file.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page

August 20, 200223 yr Hey everyone,I have finished my Help Tutorials and have updated them on my website. These guides are just that, simple, basic guides. They are meant to help new users to better understand how to do certain tasks with FS2k2. I need to still do some minor tweaking and if you find any errors please email me.The guides online currently are: Help with Installing AFCAD filesHelp with Installing Additional Airplane Model/TexturesHelp with Manually Installing Project AI Aircraft and RepaintsHelp with Installing Flight Plans using Traffic ToolsAs I have mentioned that these guides are not meant to be used in place of the documentation which each program/project comes with. In the case of the PAI Help Guide, I wrote it just in case you would like to use/try out PAI's low frame rate aircraft but didn't want to go through the auto install process. You can access these guides by clicking on my weblink graphic below. Once on the main page, click on the second jet on the upper left, from there you will be given your help choices. My hope is that new users will find these of some value.Cheers...Josh[br][br][div align=center][br][link:members.cox.net/fstimes/wetimage.html]Click Here For Weather Image of the Day!
