August 25, 200223 yr How can you get a gmax plane to let you change the radius with AITM. Most of the planes I have will, even my DF737, PSS-777 & 747. But there are a couple that won't. The radius is grayed out. One is the lear that comes with fs2k2. And another is a 717 that I would like to know the radius that it's set to. At the AITM site it says that it's set in the mdl file. Any way to make it so the radius can be changed.John
August 26, 200223 yr Hi John, first get a Hex-Editor, like Hex-Wizard of XVI32,then open the mdl of the aircraft and change the radius. But be careful, and this only works with gmax planes for FS2k2.Hex-Wizard can be found on http://de.geocities.com/hexwizard2/index.htmlXVI32 at http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delphi/free...xvi32/xvi32.htmCheersRalf
August 28, 200223 yr Hi John, the add in Hex is 1C, thanks to Lee Swordy for the information. This is a unsigned 32bit integer. But Lee also told, you can change it with the AITN tool.Much more easy there.Open the aircraft editor and on the bottom of the page you will find the radius in meter.Hope this help you.Ralf
August 28, 200223 yr Author Hi John, all GMAX aircraft are currently supported by AITM. If AITM grays out the radius, then the radius value offset in the model format is yet unknown. So there will be no chance to modify it. Also note that the Lear in FS2k2 is not a GMAX model.Hope that helpsThomas
August 28, 200223 yr Thanks, but as I said, the radius field in AITM is grayed out. So I was unable to change it there. But I'll give it a try. I always backup first.John
