September 9, 200223 yr I thought that the only time that FS adjusted was the arrival time. I thought we could put in a dep time and leave the arrival time blanck and FS would calculate an arrival time. What I tried to do was to take the arrival time as calculated by FS and add two hours to the arrival time and call that the departure time for the return trip. Essentially this would have ensured that none of my aircraft would sit at a gate for more than two hours. However after the compile when I decompiled and went in to look dep/arrival time all my times had changed. I had also changed all my times so the bulk of my departures would occur between 5am and 11pm, it seems FS redistributed the flights to all hours of the day when I decompiled my flight plan. Any ideas??
September 9, 200223 yr If you set your repeat period to anything less than 24 hours, the compiler will change your departure time to the earliest departure of the day. Example:8 hour repeat, I enter 10:00I will have departures at:10:0018:0002:00The compiler would change this to 02:00Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
