October 16, 200223 yr As I use TTools, I have noticed a surprising number of phantom ICAOs listed in the flight plans. In other words, airports shown as destinations or origins in flight plans that aren't listed in the ICAO list that comes with FS2K2.So how can the sim fly an aircraft (AI) to or from a non-existent airport?I was working on flight plans in Europe and Middle-East I've seen big commercial aircraft routed from, say, Istanbul to airports that aren't listed. Huh?Anyone have any thoughts on this? Surely someone else has run across this oddity. Or is this just more Microsoft silliness?ThanksRick
October 16, 200223 yr Author One can make up new airports, such as overlays, to accommodate more AI. Also, not every airport was listed in the default listing, especially airports that are not controlled. To have AI go to these airports, the ICAO must be listed in the file. Bill Sieffert
