October 21, 200223 yr Because PAI does not yet have a full complement of US domestic aircraft, I augment with other a/c - many of which are not designed as AI. The trouble I'm having is that some show up with their gear retracted when at the gate. They then float down the taxiway. What is the fix for this?Doing many trials yesterday, I'm not sure that I'm convinced that PAI models are the best for frame rates. GMAX models may have a slight edge, but given the same quantty of a/c I don't notice more than a 1-2 FPS swing either way. What did make a consistent difference(~2.5 FPS) is turning a/c shadows off. A/c texture size didn't make a real difference. Also, some a/c do not allow the radius setting to be changed in AITM. The radius box is disabled when the affected a/c is selected. Why is this?Last question: other that fixed arrival times, is there perhaps a config setting that changes the arrival spacing? FS tends to space them as close as 1.5 miles in trail resulting in go-arounds.

No there isn't. If two planes are scheduled to arrive at the same time, they will arrive at the same time...Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
