December 28, 200223 yr Hi the decompiler/Compiler is looking in wrong drive for traffic.bgl how do I change this?Happy New YearEddie
December 28, 200223 yr The compiler/decompiler probably looks in your Windows registry for the location of fs2002. Did you move fs2002 manually since installing it to a different location? Bill Sieffert
December 29, 200223 yr Hi.FS2002 is still in same directory, but I had to reinstall XP.Do I need to reinstall FS2002?Happy New YearEddie
December 30, 200223 yr Yes, because you deleted you system registry during the reinstall! WinXP will run fs2002 without it being in the registry, probably WinNT and Win2000 will also. Here is how to do the reinstall of fs2002, especially if you have a lot of addons.First check the Windows Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel for fs2002 in the list. If it is present, Copy the fs2002 folder to another area on your hardrive and rename this copy fs2002OLD, then uninstall fs2002 from the Add/Remove Menu. If it is not present in the Add/Remove Menu, rename the present fs2002 folder fs2002OLD. Reinstall fs2002, start fs2002 to make sure it is working properly, then exit fs2002. Rename the new fs2002 folder to fs2002NEW. If fs2002OLD is on the same drive/partition then rename it fs2002 otherwise move it to the proper drive/partition. Restart fs2002 to ensure it is working properly with the old install. If not, make sure it is in the proper folder, usually c:program filesmicrosoft gamesfs2002. If it still does not work, rename the fs2002 to fs2002OLD then rename fs2002NEW to fs2002. Recheck that the new install still works. If so, you can slowly copy addon files from fs2002OLD to the new install.Hopefully, everything will work the first time without a lot of switching back and forth. Just be careful were you place the fs2002OLD and fs2002NEW folders. Bill Sieffert
