I have used it but have used AITM - http://www.molitor-home.de/FS/AITM . It shouldn't be necessary to decompile each time you open yRoute. You are the one that needs to know if the flightplan.txt, airports.txt, and aircraft.txt files are up to date.

Hi JeffYes, I use it all the time, but not as the author most probably thought I would.I add all my aircraft and textures manually, and if you do the same you will know that it is very easy to make a small error, so what I do is copy aircraft.txt, airport.txt and flightplans.txt to YRoute before I run a new compile. YRoute immediately shows up any missing aircraft between the flightplans and aircraft.txt (missing as in a capital or space) which can be corrected at that stage.I also find it useful to check on airports and aircraft usage, but normally I use Excel for most of my manipulations.AITM is another useful tool supplementing what YRoute does.CheersMike
