AFCAD renders airports unusable

Recommended Posts

Guest Catandra

I've been using AFCAD successfully with CoF for some time now but recently, I've found a bug that makes the sim crash after I make an alteration at the airport, like a new parking space, for instance. I'm not even trying to do anything with traffic, I just want to add some spaces but now when I go to the airport I've just saved, the sim acts like it's going to load the flight, gets to 0% and then boots me out of the sim without so much as an error message.Anyone seen this before? Thanks for any help.sigpic.jpghttp://dogcreek.allwebco.com/

Have you used AFCAD's Find Faults under the Tools menu to see if it can detect a fault causing your problem. Otherwise use one of the new decompilers BGLX110.ZIP or newbglanalyze.zip and see if you can see where the problem lies, else start your airport AFCAD over from scratch.W. Sieffert

signaturelogo.jpgThanks Mr. Sieffert, for your help. I think you are right about the fault finder tool. I think the problem MAY have been the fact that I had placed parking spots that were unconnected with the rest of the airport. I won't ever do that again!

So we put that crash down to "Pilot Error"?
