Looking For ICAO List

Featured Replies

I used to have a shortcut for the FS2K2 ICAO list while I used TTools. But I can't seem to find the ICAO list in FS9. Without that list, editing and creating flight plans is very difficult.Anybody know where the ICAO text file is in FS9, so I can make a shortcut to desktop while editing flightplans?????Thanks again!!!!!Rick

The list in FS9 is in the airlines.txt (.cfg?) file in the AIRCRAFT folder. This by default only contains the fake MS airlines, but if you use EditVoicePack and update the file, it will contain them all.Other choices: you can download text files containing the list from avsim, and AI Traffic Mover contains cfg files that have the default list. AITM is available at: http://www.molitor-home.de/fs/aitm/Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Thanks for the response,Tom. But I'm looking for the text file that lists all the airport codes. Perhaps you're thinking of airline callsigns. The ICAO list tells me what airport "KMKE" is and where it is.And I'm still looking. If only I could remember where it was in FS2K2, but that was a few years ago. Thanks again!Rick

Hi Rick, download TTools 2.01 and install it. Than you use 'CollectAirports' this will give you an Airport.txt file which has all ICAO's of all installed aiports.
