Ultralight AI

Recommended Posts

Guest jlwoodward

I'm looking around for an ultralight to use for AI and don't see any in the library here, just tons of heavy stuff. Does anyone know of any? Perhaps it would be easier just to use an existing ultralight pretty much as is. I don't think many lod models would be needed for something just flying in one spot 100 feet off the ground.

I'm not aware of any that are freeware. I use Bill Lyons' Challenger pkg. (payware, but worth it) His has an "AI Ver" included. You're probably right about the LOD, though.Hope this helps,MikeI'm confused. Wait...maybe I'm not!www.flightontario.com

Howdy,I've been using a couple of Ultralights as AI since FS2002:* Bison Ultralight Trike (GMax) by Juan Pablo Benlliure* Experimental Microlight (FSDS2) by John Cillis* Seabird Ultralight SB7L Seeker (GMax) by Tim Piglet Conrad* Ultralight T Bird II (FSDS) by Gerry R. Rivera and Jeridan LightI haven't checked whether all of these are available at Avsim; I might have found them at Flightsim or other servers. For all of these I exchanged the .air files and associated parameters in the aircraft.cfg with the Stemme motorglider files Doug and I developed for the AI helicopter starter kits. However, that was more necessary in FS2002 than it is in FS9 so the original .air/.cfg combo might work too.Cheers, Holger
