Multiple copies of one AI plane sitting around..... please help me

Recommended Posts

Hello all,I have been trying using AI Flight Creator to add one AI plane that flies from KAPF to KEYW three times a day. I have tried making 3 separate pairs of legs. (eg: KAPF-KEYW-KAPF in the morning, afternoon and night). I have tried making one big flightplan, eg: KAPF-KEYW-KAPF-KEYW-KAPF-KEYW-KAPF, all with correct arival & departure times but I end up with sometimes 7-8 copies of this ac on the ground? I'm really tearing my hair out... this is my first attempt at making some original traffic. Well, if anyone, Tom Gibson, Reggie Fields, any kind soul could point me in the right direction? Thanks all,Tosh:-grr

Multiple copies means multiple flight plan lines in the flightplans.txt file. It must be one flightplan, because each flight plan line generates a separate copy of the aircraft. To troubleshoot this type problem, you need to have only that AI traffic file active, and have only those flights in a separate set of TTools source files. You should only have one line in the aircraft.txt file because you are dealing with only one repaint. You should have only two lines in the airports.txt file because you are dealing with two airports. You should have only one line in the flightplans.txt file because you want only one aircraft flying.Could you copy and paste the flightplan and the aircraft.txt info onto this thread. It's a lot easier to look at the real data.

Thanks Reggie, after reading your post I checked... For some reason when I pressed the "weekly" button on the AI Traffic Creator is generated a separate AC for each day. So I edited out the AC entries and it appears to be working the way it should. I will paste FP entry below. Let me know if it's faulty in anyway? FWIW, this is my first attempt at making FP. I'm trying to make Yellow Air Taxi using current schedule.Cheers,Tosh:-wave AC#3,N242V,75%,WEEK,IFR,0/11:45:00,0/12:33:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/12:55:00,0/13:43:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,0/15:35:00,0/16:23:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/18:00:00,0/18:48:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,0/21:25:00,0/22:13:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/22:50:00,0/23:38:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,1/11:45:00,1/12:33:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,1/12:55:00,1/13:43:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,0/15:35:00,0/16:23:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/18:00:00,0/18:48:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,0/21:25:00,0/22:13:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/22:50:00,0/23:38:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,4/11:45:00,4/12:33:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,4/12:55:00,4/13:43:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,0/15:35:00,0/16:23:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/18:00:00,0/18:48:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,0/21:25:00,0/22:13:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/22:50:00,0/23:38:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,5/11:45:00,5/12:33:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,5/12:55:00,5/13:43:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,0/15:35:00,0/16:23:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/18:00:00,0/18:48:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,0/21:25:00,0/22:13:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/22:50:00,0/23:38:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,6/11:45:00,6/12:33:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,6/12:55:00,6/13:43:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,0/15:35:00,0/16:23:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/18:00:00,0/18:48:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,0/21:25:00,0/22:13:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/22:50:00,0/23:38:48,045,F,7622,KAPF

The plans has several 0 day flights in the middle.I always find it useful to line the flights up in vertical columns so I can see the date and time progression easily:AC#3,N242V,75%,WEEK,IFR,0/11:45:00,0/12:33:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/12:55:00,0/13:43:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,0/15:35:00,0/16:23:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/18:00:00,0/18:48:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,0/21:25:00,0/22:13:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,0/22:50:00,0/23:38:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,1/11:45:00,1/12:33:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,1/12:55:00,1/13:43:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,1/15:35:00,1/16:23:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,1/18:00:00,1/18:48:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,1/21:25:00,1/22:13:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,1/22:50:00,1/23:38:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,2/11:45:00,2/12:33:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,1/12:55:00,2/13:43:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,2/15:35:00,2/16:23:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,2/18:00:00,2/18:48:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,2/21:25:00,2/22:13:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,2/22:50:00,2/23:38:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,3/11:45:00,3/12:33:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,3/12:55:00,3/13:43:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,3/15:35:00,3/16:23:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,3/18:00:00,3/18:48:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,3/21:25:00,3/22:13:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,3/22:50:00,3/23:38:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,4/11:45:00,4/12:33:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,4/12:55:00,4/13:43:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,4/15:35:00,4/16:23:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,4/18:00:00,4/18:48:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,4/21:25:00,4/22:13:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,4/22:50:00,4/23:38:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,5/11:45:00,5/12:33:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,5/12:55:00,5/13:43:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,5/15:35:00,5/16:23:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,5/18:00:00,5/18:48:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,5/21:25:00,5/22:13:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,5/22:50:00,5/23:38:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,6/11:45:00,6/12:33:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,6/12:55:00,6/13:43:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,6/15:35:00,6/16:23:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,6/18:00:00,6/18:48:48,045,F,7622,KAPF,6/21:25:00,6/22:13:48,045,F,7622,KEYW,6/22:50:00,6/23:38:48,045,F,7622,KAPF
