A perhaps, basic question

Featured Replies

I have PAI installed and am using it very successfully ... thisis for fs2002 ... Last night and this morning tried to download a couple of airline packages from their site but for some reason the site is working properly. Perhaps it is a blessing in disguise ... as perhaps it is a good time to learn something about creating my own ... or at least using some of the many packages of updated schedules that are available in the avsim files.I know to download TTools ... mainly for the instructions that come with it. I also know that there are ai aircraft available ... Now the basic question (or would this be something explained in the TTools instructions ... using the flight plans available here .. namely Aloha and Hawaiian Airlines ... how do I get actual aircraft assigned to them to function.

Hi,Yes, read the TTools documentation and then come back with any specific question you might still have. The short answer is that the AC# listed in the flight plan file must match up with the AC# listed in the aircraft.txt file. And the aircraft.txt file must get it's aircraft info from the title= line of the plane's aircraft.cfg file. That's how they match up.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Thanks Tom ... as I posted in another entry, i think above this .. somewhat figured it out. Have been flying in Hawaii ... and darn ... the two airlines I added to the AI inventory ... are there.Dale
