May 7, 200224 yr Hi, I wanted to know if it is worth to buy the CH Pro Pedals USB! Do you think that the price is too much for those pedals? Does something else exist?Thank for the replies!Nico
May 7, 200224 yr I have them , and I really like them. Adds a bit of "realism" when flying the GA aircraft (which is what I fly the most of)http://www.thesalters.org/images/Avsim_sig_KS.jpg
May 7, 200224 yr I`ve got them too. They`re nice and precise, and much better than the joystick/throttle rudder solutions regarding flying, but I do not like the characteristic of the movement, I think they raise the values too much when I start to give rudder. Adjusting the nullzone in controls.txt didn`t help much. I suspect the sensor/potmeter being linear and not logarithmic...
May 7, 200224 yr Once you get used to them you can't be without them especialy when taxiing and flying GA aircraft.Mannie
May 7, 200224 yr That`s true. And the toe-brakes are nice to have, for both GA and Heavy aircraft...and they work just fine with my Saitek X36 combo on WinXP.
May 7, 200224 yr Hi Nico,After a Logitech Wingman Extreme 3D Digital, I bought the CH Pro pedals and yoke, and they are awesome. Night and day... You won't regret it.If you are in the states try http://www.cruxworks.com for good prices on them.Regards,Joe :-)http://home.attbi.com/~jranos/mysig.jpg http://avsim.com/hangar/air/bfu/logo70.gif CryptoSonar on Twitch & YouTube.
May 8, 200224 yr Doing what they are supposed to do, but way too sensitive, though!I never use the brake pedals as they are not practical and useful. Steering with the rudder and then applying brakes on the two wheels.IMHO!Albert Van Thournout :-wave (A Mac user from Belgium)http://users.skynet.be/avt/QS G4/DP800/1 GB RAMGeForce3 Video CardACD 22" LCDCH Flight Sim Yoke USBCH Pro Pedals USB
