Hi Rakham,As I recall, there's a bug in FlyII where the airport you have set as the default airport in the quick flight option always appears as your starting point in the GPS, regardless of what you enter with the flight planner. So try changing the default quick flight option ... not elegant, but it should work.John

Rakham,John is right - also, just click on NAV or Flight Plan and the SFO location will disappear.

Thanks to you both.I went to look in the fly.ini file, and I must confess that this is far too risky for me to alterate. Therefore I will just click on the VAV button since it works fine.Best regardsRakham

No need to touch your fly.ini file. Just go under the Quickflight menu and pick another airport. Whatever airport is in that menu will be what appears on your GPS when you start. If you want to remedy this without having to plan ahead everytime you quit Fly!2, try Allen Kreisman's FlyStart utility (not FlyStart.dll - the EXE file). With FlyStart, you can pick the plane, camera and airport you want to start with during that session. What its doing is effectively updating the Fly.ini with the airport name from the Quickflight menu (among other things). If you use the utility and enter "KJFK", then your plane will be KJFK with the GPS also correctly set.-DK----Fly!
