August 4, 200223 yr I have seen this happen before. As far as I remember it was a display card problem. Suggest that he get the latest drivers for his card. Also tell him to make usre he has DirectX 8.1 I had that happen to me once but not as bad, i just had one or 2 textures replaced by faces or plane skins. August 5, 200223 yr Well, I know what it is. I don't know how it's happenning! The "texture" is the Malibu Mirage (err...I mean "Sahara") high resolution TIF. It's the file that is used to put the paint on the plane's wire mesh. Here is the Tri1.tif file:
