I can't extract certain files in the 1.01.88 patch for

Featured Replies

Hi everybody,I just downloaded the 1.01.88 patch for my 1.01.87 version of FLY! 2K. When I extracted the compressed file with WINZIP, I obtained typical files as usual. Among them, however were several more compressed files that I couldn't use WINZIP to extract. I obtained the error message contained in the attached file.I ran through the setup procedure for this patch anyway, but the version was not updated. Can someone help with this? A few pearls of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.Regards,

John,I just downloaded flysdkpcr.zip from the file library (the SDK 1.01.88 User Update for the PC) and it unzipped with no problems. The compressed files that remain (like the data1.cab) are unzipped by the setup program that comes with the patch during the installation process (not by Winzip). It could be that the file you downloaded became corrupted somehow - I would download a new copy and see if it installs. If you continue to have problems, then download the more advanced update: the "Developer" version. I recall that some persons had problems with the "User" patch, but everything worked fine with the "Developer" version.
