May 21, 200224 yr I have just installed FS 2002 and find that even though the autorudder is checked, the aircraft continues to drift left and is not controlable. I do not have rudder panels, just joystick.Appreciate any help.
May 21, 200224 yr I would check the calibration of the joystick from the spot view at the rear of the aircraft. Use the Shift "-" or Shift "+" to move closer to the aircraft and move slight above the aircraft.Deselect autocoordination, look at the rudder to see if it is centered. Press the "5" key on your keyboard number pad, did the rudder center. If so, your joystick has a center bias that needs to be overcome (a common problem). Twist the joystick rudder axis one way and release. Check for rudder center, press the "5" again. Twist the joystick rudder axis the opposite way and release. Recheck for rudder center.Download and install FSUIPC, read the User's guide on joysticks, and calibrate the joystick with the instructions provided. You need to build a small deadband in the rudder axis. Bill Sieffert
